We look at the hair first

Sometimes it is the scissors, sometimes the clipper, most often both. We decide before we start.

Scissors first

We take the length off with scissors, slowly. The clipper only goes where it belongs.

The line

Around the ear we work dry, so we can see exactly where the line falls.

The nape, by razor

The last two minutes are the razor at the nape, then the alum. You look in the mirror before reaching for your wallet.

Nine square metres

2011 · București

We opened in 2011, in nine square metres, with two second-hand chairs from a shop that was closing down in Ferentari.

We have changed the chairs since, and knocked a wall through, but the way we work is much the same. You get forty minutes and we do not book anyone on top of you, so there is nobody breathing down your neck. The television went years ago.

Half the people who come through the door have been coming for over ten years. A few have brought their sons along, and the sons get their hair cut here now too.

    Opened the shop. Classic cuts, and he is the one with the razor.

    The younger brother. Works with scissors and is good with curly hair.

    He has been with us since 2019. Fades, line-ups and beards.

    He joined in 2023. He is the one who cuts the children, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
